Mental Health Training – Salford Royal *NEW
Would you like to learn more about mental health difficulties to support our service users and colleagues within Salford Royal Hospital? If so, Salford Mental Health Liasion Team would like to offer all staff working on the acute wards at Salford Royal Hospital, the opportunity to receive informal Mental Health training.
In the sessions the following areas will be discussed:
- Commonly seen mental health illnesses within our wards
- Self harm and suicide
- Violence and aggression
- Managing challenging behaviour
The dates for this training are:
- Tues 29th March, 2-4pm,
- Tues 19th April 2-4pm
- Tues 10th May 2-4pm
- Tues 14th June 2-4pm
- Tues 12th July 2-4pm
- Tues 9th August 2-4pm
All sessions are based in the Mayo building, please ask at reception for which room upon arrival. Feel free to bring a coffee along with you !
