Improving quality is about making health care safe, effective, patient-centred, timely,
efficient and equitable. It’s about giving the people closest to problems affecting care quality
the time, permission, skills and resources they need to solve them.
The Health Foundation
Within the NCA, it is our aim to equip and empower all our people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to continuously improve quality of care and outcomes for service users through the use of systematic methods. To enable us to do this, we have created a programme around the QI Capability Building Pyramid which builds on professional learning that begins with building general awareness throughout all roles across the NCA organisation.
